Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking and camping, as well as photography. I also love traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my family, friends, and especially my sister and nephew.
At home, I have two cats—Leo and Akeno. Leo is four and a half years old and very sweet and affectionate, while Akeno is three years old and has a playful, happy personality and loves getting head scratches.
Favorite Part of My Job
My favorite part of my job is caring for animals and getting to see them improve. Whether it’s helping them feel more comfortable during a visit or being part of their recovery, it’s incredibly rewarding to see them get better and go home happy.
Why I Chose This Profession
I chose to work in veterinary medicine because I have a genuine passion for helping animals and supporting their health. Being able to make a positive difference in their lives every day is what motivates me and makes this work so meaningful.
Professional Background
I began my career in veterinary medicine as a receptionist at Banfield Pet Hospital, where I developed strong communication and organizational skills while supporting the daily operations of a busy clinic. Over time, I transitioned into a veterinary assistant role, where I gained hands-on experience caring for patients, safely restraining animals, preparing exam rooms, and assisting the veterinary team during procedures.
After relocating to Michigan in 2023, I joined the team at Harvey Animal Hospital, where I continue to build my skills and grow within the field. I enjoy working closely with both patients and clients, and I take pride in helping create a positive and supportive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
